On BB10 versions 10.3.3.2049 to 10.3.3.3216, Android apps may stop launching because the Android Runtime files on the phone get corrupted or damaged.
These two files control the Android subsystem:
- sys.android.shell-10.3.3.213
-sys.android-10.3.3.213
If either file is broken, Android apps won’t open.
This will overwrite the old corrupted Android Runtime files with clean ones. After reinstalling, Android apps usually start working again in 99% of cases.
If the above methods don't solve the problem with launching Android apps, flashing the firmware with an autoloader will help.
